Safer way to remove seized wheels
May 2010 Email to a friend   Comment on this article
Liftmaster's K1350 Wheel Grabber provides a good way of removing a seized, hub-piloted, wheel.

The pulling chains are hooked into the hand holes and their safety hooks attached to the Wheel Grabber.

Then you centre the hub socket on the wheel hub an simply use an impact wrench on the forcing screw. That tightens the pulling chains, pulling off the seized wheel without damaging wither the wheel or the hub.
