Rugby-based Parcels to Ireland has taken delivery of a new Scania truck from Keltruck to replace a Mercedes vehicle in its 10-strong fleet.

Parcels to Ireland specifies Keltruck ScaniaChris Putt, operations director of Parcels to Ireland, says the vehicle is a P235DB4X2MNAS sleeper cab, fitted with a 28ft curtainsider body and a Dhollandia tail lift.

Putt went for a two-year Support Programmes package, covering full R&M, all managed from Keltruck's Rugby branch but backed up by 94 nationwide service points.

"We were looking for a reliable vehicle with reasonable running costs and decent resale value," says Putt. "We have been buying Scanias from Keltruck for over 15 years now, which is a good indicator of the quality of the service and product supplied."
