Bagnall and Morris has added a Volvo FM to its fleet, with price and dealer support the deciding factors, according to the waste management company.

FMs price is right for Bagnall and MorrisPlated for 32 tonnes gcw, the 8x4 hooklift vehicle was specified with 370bhp engine, I-shift automated transmission and Day cab in the Comfort trim. This FM is the first vehicle in the company's range to operate at Euro 5 with SCR (selective catalytic reduction) technology.

"Volvo provided us with an exceptional price on the vehicle: the whole package with a seven-year repair and maintenance contract was ideally suited to our businesses requirements," explains the Bromborough-based firm's fleet engineer, Paul Jarmay.

"Operating a 10-year vehicle replacement plan, its peace of mind knowing that for the next seven years the vehicle will be maintained by Volvo," he adds.

Bagnall and Morris, which currently operates 44 waste management vehicles, has now placed an additional order for a Volvo FM, 8x2 rear-end loader with a Farid body for its new depot in Manchester.
