With requirements for the London LEZ (Low Emissions Zone) to be tightened in January 2012, Eminox is inviting operators affected by Phase 3 and 4 to talk to it about the issue.

Eminox offers LEZ compliance advicePhase 3 enforcement, which starts in January 2012, will extend the range of vehicles affected to include minibuses and trucks from 1.2 tonnes. Phase 4 will also set a tougher standard of Euro 4 particulate matter for buses, coaches and trucks of more than 3.5 tonnes.

The firm offers two LEZ-approved retrofit systems – The Eminox CRT (continuously regenerating trap) and FBC (fuel borne catalyst). These systems achieve more than 90% PM reduction and the firm says they offer a cost effective solution for LEZ Phase 3 and 4.
