Bibby Distribution has named John Finn as its new fleet and procurement director, based at the company's Liverpool HQ. Finn, who has more than 35 years experience in the industry, joins the company from Yodel (formerly the Home Delivery Network), where he was responsible for the integration of more than 8,000 vehicles following the acquisition of DHL's UK parcel operation.
Lisa Fisher has been appointed Dealerpoint manager at Volvo Truck and Bus Centre East Anglia, Kettering. She joins the firm from Portakabin and previously Otis. Her role will involve leading the Kettering team to develop working partnerships with customers in major industry sectors.
As part of a restructuring programme at GITI Tyre, Richard Lyons has been appointed general manager Europe. He will lead an international team of European marketing, technical and management experts. In addition, Tony McHugh is the new sales and marketing director, truck and bus for the IK GITI Tire subsidiary, while Sascha Kemper takes up a similar role in Germany.
Brian Porteous has been appointed technical product marketing manager at Michelin Tyre, with a remit that includes the company's truck, bus and coach products within the UK and Ireland. He replaces Paul Kendrick, who is retiring after 43 years with the company.
Clutch and brakes specialist Industrial Clutch Parts has appointed Phil Reed engineering director, covering the UK and Ireland. His brief is to expand ICP's couplings, brakes and renewable energy business.
June Killoury has assumed the role of chair of the 1link Hire Network Customer Forum, while the incumbent Anna Hobbs takes maternity leave. The organisation represents major fleets using epyx's daily rental e-commerce platform to manage their hire requirements.
GE Capital Fleet Services has strengthened its LCV leasing operation, with Simon Cook taking the lead role, while Eddie Parker has been appointed as LCV consultant.
