Nissan has signed a deal with tyre company Bridgestone to supply three Primastar vans for its inspection and tyre replacement services fleet.

Nissan vans set to boost Bridgestone fleetNichola Randall, who looks after fleet vehicles at Bridgestone UK, explains that the Primastar LCVs were chosen based on specification and price.

One of the major contracts they will work on is First Group, with the Bridgestone LCVs covering close to 8,000 vehicles.

"The Nissan Primastars are used by the regional technicians who support the Bridgestone UK bus operations team," explains Randall.

"The role of the regional technician is to offer cover and support to the UK-wide team of technicians [and] the vehicles will be used to carry light equipment for electronic fleet inspections and heavyweight equipment, such as tyres and wheels," she adds.
