Multi-modal logistics and freight forwarding specialist Maru International has added a further four Krone trailers to its 40–strong trailer fleet.

Krone trailers boost Marus Euro logistics operationThe new Profi Liner curtainsiders feature Krone Multi-Lock load security system, which is certified to Euro standard VDI 2700 and will help ensure compliance with European safety regulations.

Krone says it designed the Multi-Lock system to provide maximum load securing options, faster loading, increased flexibility for different load types and, most important, safe handling.

According to Richard Grimes, international business development manager for Maru, safety is paramount but speed and efficiency are also pre requisites.

"Krone Trailers offer the simplest and easiest stripping and re-boarding of any of the manufacturers, and this assists us greatly when turning vehicles round for loading and unloading to meet our deadlines at the hub," he states.
