Bolton Council - Motor Vehicle Technician - Grade 6 £23,111 - £26,470 - 37 hours including some early/late shifts to meet the needs of the service13 August 2018

We are looking for experienced motor vehicle technicians to provide an efficient repair and maintenance service to the council’s vehicle fleet and grounds maintenance equipment. You will need to be qualified as a motor vehicle technician with several years’ experience working in a motor vehicle repair and servicing environment. Experience of maintaining large goods vehicles and vehicles in a municipal setting, such as RCV’s will be an advantage but not essential.

You will need to be flexible and capable of working to tight deadlines in a busy workshop. Use of your own tools is important for which an additional allowance will be paid.
