Workshop Manager - Aberdeen28 July 2017

Stagecoach North Scotland are currently recruiting for a Workshop Manager for our Aberdeen operations, based at our Aberdeen depot. We operate over 100 buses from our Aberdeen depots, including a fleet of 6 Hydrogen powered buses. We operate high quality local bus services and longer distance coach services across Aberdeenshire and the North East of Scotland.

Can you run a team like a well-oiled machine?

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the engineering functions at our depots in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical ability in all aspects of PCV maintenance, good communicational skills, and demonstrate an eye for detail to drive improvements in the quality of work and vehicle presentation. You will also be proactive in enforcing safe systems of working and be able to work within agreed budgetary guidelines.

Applicants must have relevant qualifications from either a PCV or an HGV background and hold a full PCV or HGV licence. The membership of a recognised professional organisation would be advantageous.
