Job Title – Irtec Tutor

Salary - £19,792 - £37,600 (subject to job evaluation)

Location – Can be based across the UK

We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for an Irtec Tutor/Assessor to join our team in the Automotive, Construction, Engineering and Logistics department. Although the base will be the college the role is to be carried out across the UK.

As a Tutor you will deliver high quality, learner focused education to re-engage and ensure positive progression opportunities for all learners.

Key responsibilities (but not limited to) are as follows:

-Plan and deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment for learners to ensure compliance with curriculum best practice and quality targets.
-Develop and maintain accurate and detailed learner records, individual learning plans and progress tracking.
-Regular attendance and active contribution at departmental and cross college meetings, Contribution to robust self-assessment and quality improvement procedures including learner satisfaction.
-Work in conjunction with stakeholders and partners.


Qualifications, skills and experience:
-Either have relevant teacher qualification or be willing to work towards this
-Experience in industry and relevant level 3 qualification in heavy vehicle or bus and coach
-English and Maths to level 2 - or willingness to work towards
-Ability to travel as work based across the UK
-Excellent organisation and happy working autonomously
-Team player
-Excellent with data and reporting on student records
