Mike Belk is taking over as managing director for Mercedes-Benz Trucks from 1 May, replacing Michael Kamper, who will become vice president of marketing, sales and customer services in Asia. Belk’s most recent role was president and CEO of Daimler Middle East, with responsibility for commercial vehicles and cars.

Mahle Aftermarket UK has appointed Phil Ramsay technical sales support, to develop the firm's 'man with a van' concept, while David Wootton takes over quality in addition to his existing role as operations deputy manager at Bilston. Ramsay was formerly with IFA member Leamoco, where he was warehouse manager and parts advisor.

Paul McNamara has joined Williams Advanced Engineering as technical director, reporting to managing director Craig Wilson and shepherding the company's expanding range of projects in the automotive, motorsport, energy, defence and civil aerospace sectors. He was previously executive director at Shanghai Automotive Industries.

Jacqueline O'Donovan, managing director of O'Donovan Waste Disposal, has been made a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). She also joins an elite group of women, with only 5% of those achieving Fellowship being female.

South coast Mercedes-Benz dealer Pentagon Commercials has won praise from the manufacturer after becoming the first member of its franchised network to appoint a technical specialist dedicated to the increasingly popular FUSO Canter light truck range.

Chris Hillier has been promoted to technical specialist dedicated to the Fuso Canter light truck range at south coast Mercedes-Benz dealer Pentagon Commercials. He was formerly an elite diagnostic technician at its Andover branch.

Helmut Ernst is the new chairman of the board of directors at ZF Services, taking over from retiring Alois Ludwig. He is responsible for the aftersales business unit of ZF Friedrichshafen, expanding its range of telematics solutions and associated services.

Robert Taylor is the new head and commercial director of Dawsongroup's expanding Asset Finance subsidiary. He was previously director of corporate asset finance at Lombard, the asset finance arm of RBS.

Jim Zwald is the new regional fleet and dealer manager at aftermarket business Hadley, reporting to Jim Clark, who is the new national fleet and dealer manager. Together, they will develop business through Hadley's national network of direct sales and agencies.

Ogilvie Fleet has expanded its team of area sales managers with the appointment of Darren Hill at its Sheffield office, following the earlier recruitment of David Raponi to lead the group's growth into larger corporates.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has appointed Trevor Hodgson-Phillips as its new head of service and parts, reporting directly to Carl zu Dohna, director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. He will be responsible for driving the brand's aftersales activities in the UK. He was formerly Škoda head of planning.
