We also operate a Private Hire service which is continuously growing and developing to meet the demands of the commercial market.

The engineering department is going through an exciting period of change as it prepares itself to be more competitive by introducing excellence in everything we do.In order to deliver this change programme we are seeking dynamic, highly motivated and experienced individuals to fulfil the role of Fleet Engineer.These two posts are responsible for the development and continuous improvement of a small number of garages under their control. As a Fleet Engineer, you will be required to manage and motivate an informed workforce in the delivery of performance that delights our customers, whilst ensuring that the garage fleet is compliant in line with the legal and Operator Licence obligations.Part of the role will require you to drive quality and excellence in performance and standards whilst managing the budget.

As a fleet engineer, you will also be part of the Company Senior Management Team and as such will work with the Board of Directors contributing to the strategic vision and plans for the business.For this element of the role, you will be required to demonstrate the ability to think and work across multifunctional areas of the business and have the drive, vision and foresight to deliver competitive improvements.

An engineering qualification would be an advantage, however demonstrable experience in change management, delivering value and excellence will be considered.


A strong communicator and influencer, not bound by precedent or accepted practice, you will be keen to try new things. We are seeking experienced managers from transportation, military, manufacturing and compliance.A sound knowledge of working with Trade Unions is desirable but not essential.

In an environment of continuous utilisation of vehicle assets, high level service requirements and significant capital investment, this fast paced role requires a mix of quick reaction, often hands on involvement, as well as proactivity and innovation. Are you up to the mark?
