Our Fleet Shared Services section manages the Government’s fleet of around 2000 vehicle and plant assets. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and knowledgeable Plant and Engineering Manager to join our friendly and committed team.
You would assist the Head of Fleet Services in the effective management of the Isle of Man Government’s plant and engineering assets. You would also manage the provision of all plant and engineering maintenance services, carried out within the Fleet Shared Services workshops.
As this role forms part of the Fleet Shared Services Management Team, we are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a flexible approach and enthusiasm for delivering excellent quality services. You will be responsible for making the Government’s strategic plans for plant and engineering happen.
Delivering a service to our small Island community, you will see the results of your actions throughout the environment. The equipment that you manage literally keeps the whole island moving so there is a real immediacy and impact to this role. We are looking for someone with great management and leadership skills with considerable experience within a plant engineering or related engineering discipline.
