Islington services and maintains a fl eet of over 400 vehicles including refuse collection vehicles, buses vans and cars. We ensure that our workshops maintain the fl eet to the highest standards.
We are seeking 2 competent Senior Commercial Vehicle Fitters to be responsible and accountable for the quality of all services and repairs carried out in our workshops.
Working with an established team and reporting to the Transport Manager you will carry out independent quality checks on all vehicle repairs and servicing carried out in the workshops. You will contribute
to the constant improvement of our inspection, diagnosis and repair systems. The workshops are in our depot at 1 Cottage Road N7, opposite Caledonian Road underground station.
You will work a basic 35 hour week in shifts between 6.30am and 10.00pm. There will be opportunities for weekend working.
For the post of Senior Commercial Vehicle Fitter you will be qualifi ed as a minimum in IRTEC Truck and Bus with considerable industry experience OR Level 3 NVQ plus proven industry.
