1,000 Krone swap containers head for Hermes via Seaco 09 June 2015

The first two of 1,000 swap containers being built for Hermes Transport Logistics have now been handed over by Krone to container leasing specialist Seaco International Leasing.

"The name Hermes stands for more than 40 years of experience in logistics," says Volker Stenzel, departmental manager for equipment at Hermes.

"For our equipment, we always focus on quality products and high load security standards – and Krone provides us with all of this," he adds.

Krone swap systems are manufactured by Brüggen, in Herzlake, which produces closed box body and curtain swap types to all popular container lengths, parking levels and heights.

All boxes will be certified according to EN 283/284, with all steel components treated with Krone's long-term anti-corrosion KTL powder-coating paint process.
