Air freight firm goes up in the world with Somerstotalkare 14 January 2015

Growing freight handling firm Goldstar Heathrow has bought £20,000 worth of lifting equipment from Somerstotalkare for its workshops to its expanding fleet of more than 100 tractor units and 70 trailers.

The equipment includes a set of cable free lifts and a trailer beam designed to lift semi-trailers in conjunction with the column lifts.

"In order to maintain our fleet of trailers and trucks it is imperative we have a reliable solution for our workshop equipment," comments Roddy Taylor, transport manager at Goldstar Heathrow.

"Somerstotalkare provided us with the equipment solution but, more importantly, it can provide us with the aftersales care we require to keep our vehicles on the road and our customers happy."

Goldstar Heathrow holds the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) bronze award.
