Alltask switches to Mercedes-Benz Vans with Citan Dualiners 07 October 2015

Rochester-based Alltask is switching to Mercedes-Benz Vans from dealer Sparshatts of Kent, having acquired three more Citan Dualiners with two rows of seats – bringing its total to 15 of Mercedes’ smallest commercial vehicle.

All are Extra-long 109 CDI BlueEfficiency vans with the 90bhp diesel engine plus the ECO start/stop, low rolling resistance tyres and “optimised” alternator and battery management systems – delivering up to 65.7 mpg (combined cycle) and CO2 emissions of 112 g/km.

“Our new Mercedes-Benz vans certainly tick the box in terms of fuel efficiency and emissions reductions, while the feedback from supervisors and others who use them has been resoundingly positive,” comments Alltask transport manager Martin Lloyd.

“We run 60 vans in total, and the Mercedes-Benz Citan represents a definite step forward, so there’s every prospect of Sparshatts making further in-roads into our fleet over the months to come.”
