Amber selects Renault Masters for van fleet replacement 01 March 2013

Double glazing and home improvement firm Amber Windows, which is replacing its entire panel van fleet with new Renault Masters, has taken delivery of its first tranche of vehicles – all Renault Master 125bhp long wheel base vans.

The company says it intends to replace the rest of the fleet – a mix of Peugeot and Ford van – with more Renault Masters later in the year, all through Renault Trucks Midlands.

The next Renault Masters will be a mix of medium- and high-roof vehicles, and will deliver glass products – including windows, doors, conservatories, and solar panels – from Birmingham to customers across the Midlands and into Sheffield, Stockport and Milton Keynes.

"We wanted to update our fleet with a larger, stronger vehicle, and the Renault Master ticks all the boxes," states Eddie Taylor, director at Amber Windows.

"It is a sturdy but lightweight van which, combined with the longer wheelbase, gives us much better payload," he continues.

"We are extremely pleased with how the Renaults are performing so far and are looking forward to completing the all Renault line-up in the near future."
