Arval renews ATS Euromaster and Michelin tyre contract 03 January 2017

Vehicle leasing and fleet management firm Arval has extended ATS Euromaster’s contract as primary tyre supplier for its 150,000-plus car and van fleet.

The latest two-year deal follows a tender process, and sees ATS Euromaster expanding its service in the wake of Arval’s acquisition of GE Capital Finance Fleet Services in Europe, which added a further 28,000 vehicles.

Arval supply chain director Joel Lund says ATS Euromaster will continue to fit Michelin tyres across both owned and maintained fleets, continuing its commitment to fit premium Michelin replacements.

“We have confidence in ATS Euromaster’s ability to deliver the support that our customers need,” states Lund, adding that the firm continually measure its supplier against performance indicators and service levels.

“Michelin tyres deliver the breadth of performance required, particularly in the key areas of safety, fuel efficiency and mileage performance,” he adds.

Arval users gain full access to ATS Euromaster’s national network, augmented by strategic partners and the largest mobile tyre fitting fleet in the business.

Mike Williams, head of national fleets at ATS Euromaster, says this puts 94% of drivers within 15 minutes of a centre.

“We will be introducing a new direct centre delivery process, which enables any tyre to be delivered to one of our centres nationally the next working day,” he adds.
