Supplied by Renault Trucks Scotland on a five-year operating lease, the new additions are replacements for existing Renault Premiums, and are transporting waste, fuel and cargo for ASCO’s clients in the oil and gas sector.
“We have been working with Renault Trucks for over 20 years... so, when we were looking for replacements, they were our natural first choice – we simply had no reason to look elsewhere,” says Paul Davidson, transport operations manager for ASCO UK.
Features include leather steering wheel with cruise and telephone control, air-suspended driver’s heated seat with adjustable lumbar support, one-touch electric windows, comfort air conditioning, remote control for all comfort functions in the bunk area, and two loudspeakers and two tweeters.
The Range Ts are also equipped with sensored braking, lane departure warning system, adaptive cruise control and the Optidriver gearbox.
“The trucks fit seamlessly into our operation and the day-to-day activities we carry out – and of particular note are the positive fuel economy figures, as well as the styling and overall value,” adds Davidson.
