Assetminder launches graphical planner for vehicle maintenance and repair19 June 2019
Assetminder is now offering an enterprise planner module within its cloud-based fleet maintenance and workshop management system, which the company says can boost workshop efficiency and compliance.
With the new functionality, users can allocate technicians and workshop bays, as well as manage vehicle maintenance cycles.
The graphical scheduling tool can be set with customised parameters, such as time periods or mileage, and can show vehicle history and upcoming events instantly by week, by month or by year.
It has drag and drop functionality, and can show vehicle status, job card progress and technician availability.
Other features include: colour coding for real-time visibility of job status; automatic email reminders for vehicle maintenance; and scheduling of time-based tasks such as servicing and inspections.
Assetminder says the ability to view and manage all workshop assets and resources could increase the efficiency of the vehicle maintenance unit by up to 25%.
