Ast Signs offering commercial vehicle livery apprenticeship03 November 2017

Warrington-based Ast Signs is offering a new apprenticeship scheme for youngsters, who will learn the art of livery application for trucks, trailers, vans and even Bentley racing cars.

The firm is recruiting for apprentice vinyl applicators: the scheme combines extensive on-the-job training with an NVQ from Walsall College.

Specialising in commercial signage and transport fleet branding, Ast Signs’ client base includes Eddie Stobart, Royal Mail, Tesco, Muller Wiseman and most recently Greggs.

“These are exclusive apprenticeship opportunities that you just don’t see every day,” says Mark Aston, managing director. “We’re not looking for experience, just young people with great attitudes, who are reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.”
