Phase one of the programme, launched in April last year (2015), marked ATS Euromaster’s first foray into fleet services beyond tyres and wheels for commercial vehicles above 7 tonnes gvw.
Now a further 10 ATS locations can provide SMR support to truck operators both at their home base and on the road, with centre coverage stretching from Glasgow to Exeter.
Peter Fairlie, group sales director at ATS Euromaster, says the organisation now covers key locations along main transportt routes, including the M1, M4, M5 and M6, as well as Felixstowe and Tilbury.
ATS Euromaster’s heavy SMR centres provide services for both medium and heavy trucks, he says, with technicians trained to supply and fit replacement truck brake pads, air cables, electrical coils and suzie lines from stock.
They also offer supply and fit replacement truck batteries with two year unlimited mileage guarantees, plus a rapid response service for jump starting trucks in need of urgent assistance.
“Following our focus on six centres in key road freight heartlands, we’re expanding the project ,” states Fairlie – citing customer demand.
“It’s now even easier for truck fleet operators to access services that will save on fuel, maximise vehicle uptime and keep their drivers safe,” he continues.
“This marks a natural extension of our services for truck fleets beyond tyres and wheels, for which our expertise is best known.”
ATS Euromaster now offers heavy SMR services at: Aston, Avonmouth, Basildon, Bellshill, Bradford, Cardiff, Carlisle, Derby, Exeter, Felixstowe, Gateshead, Liverpool, Rugby, Stoke, Thatcham and Trafford Park.
