ATS Euromaster MOT technician training now available to third parties 14 February 2017

ATS Euromaster is offering IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) accredited MOT training to third-party technicians.

The five-day course, which is used to train its own technicians, is now available for any organisation that wants its MOT testers to receive quality training.

The course, held at ATS Euromaster’s training facility in Aston, covers Class 4 and Class 7 MOTs, and management training is also available for technicians wanting to run their own test centres.

Fiona Thompson, group head of learning and development at ATS Euromaster, says the company is also offering the annual MOT training and assessment course at locations across the country.

“ATS Euromaster enjoys a reputation of having expertly trained staff, thanks to the quality of our training programmes, which are interactive, professional and practical,” states Thompson.

“We believe our technical trainers are among the best in the industry and this new opportunity means trainee MOT technicians will be given the highest standard of training possible.”

ATS Euromaster previously worked on a pilot training programme with DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), which stopped running its own MOT training courses in September 2016.

Plans are also under way to make the course available at the ATS Euromaster Brentwood service centre by the end of the year, to cater for technicians in the south.
