AT&T and Telogis aim to connect fleets world wide15 September 2015

Communications giant AT&T and vehicle telematics specialist Telogis are to work together, under the aegis of a strategic partnership, to offer systems for mobile workforces.

“We’re offering Telogis a complete wireless network that enables two-way, real-time data communication between the vehicle and office,” explains Chris Penrose, senior vice president for AT&T’s Internet of Things Solutions.

“We look forward to driving new, innovative services together in the fleet marketplace and offering true global solutions to our mutual customers,” he adds.

David Cozzens, CEO of Telogis, says: “Telogis provides mission-critical intelligence for some of the world’s largest mobile businesses and automotive manufacturers, and our customers demand the quality and reliability that only a provider like AT&T can deliver.”

And he adds that the combination of AT&T’s global network and Telogis’ telematics, compliance, and mobile and navigation software creates full-fleet solutions for operators with vehicles of all sizes, from small trucks to 18-wheelers and heavy equipment.
