AutoCrew workshop concept goes international12 April 2011

After a period of consolidation, Bosch has announced it is expanding the service scope and network of its AutoCrew workshop concept, both across Germany and around the world.

Previously confined to Germany, in the medium term, the number of AutoCrew partner workshops is set to more than double. By the end of 2011, AutoCrew reckons it will be represented by around 700 workshops around the world.

The expansion project will initially focus on Belgium, Great Britain and Eastern Europe, with Mediterranean countries following in 2012. In Germany, the number of workshops is set to increase to from 40 to around 400 over the next two or three years.

In AutoCrew workshops, compliance with quality standards will be checked regularly, using anonymous workshop tests. These checks will primarily focus on the technical services provided, as well as additional topics such as other services and customer orientation.

All AutoCrew workshops are equipped with the latest Bosch testing equipment and offer Bosch spare parts in original equipment quality.

Service training offered by Bosch also provides regular update and development courses to ensure that workshop associates are up to speed with the latest technical developments.
