Ayjay Group gets new spark form Masternaut telematics 05 August 2015

Electrical services firm Ayjay Group says it has improved project turnaround and call-out response times, while also rationalising fuel consumption, since implementing Masternaut Telematics across its van fleet.

Ayjay director Andrew Hall says the business is now able to track and schedule its engineers efficiently while they are travelling to customer locations and at the office.

The technology also allows the firm's HR team to monitor staff activity, such as duration at each job, vehicle speed and driver behaviour – signalling, for example, training requirements.

"Our business as a whole is growing and, with that in mind, it's more important than ever to have systems that enable us to have visibility and control of our growing fleet of engineers," states Hall.

"We have a brilliant office support team who are able to use Masternaut's solution to allocate jobs faster and more accurately than we could have done before," he continues.

"From a scheduling perspective, we can access the system to create reports and track project times historically that tell us how long a project took, how long it took to get there and when the job was completed."
