Bathroom and kitchen business taps into Asset Alliance expertise14 February 2018

Bathroom and kitchen supplier PJH has completed a £4 million upgrade of its fleet, with 63 new vehicles from Asset Alliance Group.

The 63 Euro 6 vehicles range from artics to vans: 34 will be used at the operator’s distribution centre in Cannock, with the remaining 29 at its warehouse in Manchester.

Asset Alliance won the business after a three-way tender. John Nobrega, PJH’s head of operations, says: “We were bowled over by the quality of service and expertise among the staff at Asset Alliance. They were very supportive throughout the process and are extremely flexible when it comes to sourcing vehicles, contracts and service agents.

“They’re so easy to deal with... It’s going to be very reassuring to have them by our side throughout the life of the contract.”

As well as boosting efficiency and fuel economy, the new vehicles have improved in-cab technology, and will be capable of carrying heavier and larger capacity loads, helping PJH to provide faster deliveries.
