Bevan completes move to Wednesbury industrial park 17 January 2017

Bevan Group, which celebrated 40 years of trading last year, has completed the move to its new headquarters at the Wednesbury One industrial estate, close to Junction 9 of the M6.

The bodybuilder retains its former HQ and production facility in Amber Way, Halesowen, as well as a second base in Blakeley Hall Road, Oldbury.

It also keeps the Bevan Specialist Products operation in Stone, Staffordshire, as well as the Supertrucks glass-carrying vehicle bodies manufacturing site in St Helens, Merseyside.

“We’d outgrown our previous control centre in Halesowen so the new headquarters has allowed us to move to a new level,” comments Simon Dryburgh, recently promoted from general manager to director of Bevan’s Aftercare business.

“I’m determined there will be no let-up in our growth strategy – there’s plenty more business still out there and we plan shortly to recruit our first Aftercare sales specialist, while also promoting our service once again at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show,” he continues.

“Our aim, within the next five years, is to double the number of operations controllers we employ, at which point I’ll be knocking on the door of group managing director Anthony Bevan and telling him we need a new, bigger office.”
