Bodywork and conversions take to the stage at CV Show07 April 2015

Latest news from exhibitors at the Commercial Vehicle Show (14-16 April, NEC, Birmingham) includes several announcements regarding vehicle conversions and body work.

Renault says its two stands – one indoors, another outside – will host a number of conversions, including a Twizy Cargo ambulance, Trafic minibus and a Master catering vehicle.

A Master Groundskeeper conversion will also play host to a mini-golf course in its loading bay, where visitors can test their skills for the chance to win a prize.

Auto Styling Truckman will unveil the latest version of the Truckman Utility Top, made for the Volkswagen Amarok, at the event.

Its stand will feature a Network Rail Fast Response VW Amarok, with the new Utility Top and kitted out with tools and equipment. Other vehicles on the stand will include an L200 with Truckman Grand Top, Isuzu Extra Cab fitted with Truckman Classic top, and a Ford Ranger Double Cab featuring an RS with solid rear door.

Solomon says its Slipstream aerodynamic bodywork has been updated for 2015 and the company will reveal the new look at the show. Slipstream 2.0, says Solomon, combines dynamic aesthetics with proven fuel efficiency – it will be displayed on a DAF 18-tonne rigid at the event.

Solomon's stand will also feature a Mercedes 18-tonner, with full curved slipstream roof, as well as a 5-tonne Mercedes Sprinter which is the first vehicle to have Solomon's rear Kamm tail.
