Britelite opens up business with Mercedes-Benz 28 April 2011

Maidstone-based Britelite Windows has taken delivery of 10 new Long-bodied Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, with low-emission Euro 5 engines.

Britelite managing director Dominic Baxter explains that nine are 313CDI models, used by the firm's fitters, while the tenth is a more powerful (163hp) 316CDI, assigned to the company's warehouse manager.

All were supplied by Sittingbourne dealer Sparshatts of Kent and wear rear wrap liveries with additional vinyls by HB Graphic Innovations, of Sittingbourne. They also sport an array of active and passive safety features, including the latest Adaptive ESP stability system.

"Mercedes-Benz conveys an image of quality; it's a marque of distinction which is very important to us, as we install premium products to the highest possible standards," comments Baxter.

"We made the mistake once of buying vans from another manufacturer, but they couldn't compete with our Mercedes-Benz vehicles on any level. So we've stuck with Sprinters ever since."

The new arrivals will be maintained by Sparshatts' Sittingbourne service team. "We rely on our vehicles so they have to be maintained to the highest standards. The dealer's service has always been very efficient and professional; indeed, it's because Sparshatts do such a good job that we continue to use them."

Britelite's latest vehicles will be maintained under the free five-year ServicePackage, which covers labour, materials and lubricants – as per the standard Sprinter and Vito vans offering.
