Bushcade brings in Charlton-bodied Scania tippers 20 September 2013

South East-based tipper operator Bushcade Haulage has invested in two Charlton-bodied Scania eight wheelers, bringing the company's fleet to 30 tippers.

Carrying a minimum 19,500kgs of payload, the new Scanias tick every box, says Bushcade Haulage director Matt Challinor.

They have been fitted with heavy-duty underfloor tipping gear, automatic tailgates, reversing cameras, toolboxes, beacons, sideguards and Chapter Eight health and safety signage.

"Charlton steel bodies on Scania chassis give us a truly optimum vehicle," insists Challinor.

"We need tippers that are tough, dependable and reliable on the heavy jobs we do, yet also give us a good payload when on lighter work such as moving sand and gravel," he continues.

"Not just that, but we also want trucks that are safe, pleasant to work in and easy to use for our drivers – all of which helps keep maintenance and downtime costs to the minimum," he adds.

As well as being a principal contractor to the new DP World (Dubai Ports) London Gateway Deep Sea Container Port, Bushcade is now working on contracts ranging from supplying recycled aggregates to muckaway, site clearance, waste disposal and landfill restoration.
