Campbells Prime Meat stays fresh with Ryder vans 31 May 2016

Food service industry specialist Campbells Prime Meat has taken delivery of 18 new temperature controlled 3.5-tonne Mercedes-Benz Sprinters from Ryder.

The new vans are replacement vehicles for Campbells’ 65-trong fleet and will be operating across Scotland and the North of England out of the firm’s Linlithgow site.

“Our relationship with Ryder stretches back 26 years for one simple reason: the continuing high quality of service,” states Campbells finance director Stephen Sweeney.

“Ryder has taken full charge of our maintenance schedule: its technicians pick up the vans and service them out of working hours, which minimises the risk of downtime,” he continues.

“Ryder’s breakdown cover and on-tap supply of replacement vehicles gives us additional peace of mind... It enables us to focus on getting out on the road, providing the best possible service to our customers.”
