Cartwright innovation the theme for CV Show15 April 2019

Trailer manufacturer and bodybuilder Cartwright Group has unveiled its plans for the forthcoming Commercial Vehicle Show (NEC, Birmingham; 30 April to 2 May), with a new range of products and services to be showcased under the theme of innovation.

Products on show include a low-entry parcel delivery vehicle – a 3.5-tonne rigid box van on a Vauxhall Movano chassis, built for customer Hermes.

Also on show is a post-less, straight frame, tri-axle curtainsider trailer. Displayed in Cartwright livery, the new trailer has a tapered cantrail clearspan, bolted chassis construction and a choice of post-less designs.

A new step-frame double-deck refrigerated trailer is also making its debut. With a sub 14.5-tonne tare weight, it has an overall height of 4,650mm with two decks of 1,830mm, and is said to deliver fuel savings of up to 4% compared to standard double-deck designs.

Completing the line-up are a 7.5-tonne box van rigid IVECO CNG gas truck and a bespoke Urban fridge trailer.

Mark Cartwright, group managing director, says: “This year’s CV Show will be another showcase of what our design and engineering teams can achieve with our outstanding manufacturing capabilities.”
