Cartwright launches fleet specification trailer 19 June 2012

Cartwright has unveiled its first fleet specification trailer range – the curtainside straight frame semi-trailer, with a range of options.

Darren Holland, group sales director of Cartwright, explains that the initiative means the firm will now be recommending a specification optimised for low whole life costs, rather than asking what customers want.

He says the approach is based on industry knowledge Cartwright has built up not only manufacturing trailers, but also from maintaining trailers for Cartwright Rentals, which manages a fleet of more than 4,500.

"The range has been designed not only to benefit the customer with lower whole life running costs, but also to provide a more cost-effective purchase option over a bespoke specification, while still giving the operator exactly what they need," states Holland.
