Citroen and Volkswagen offer special deals to van buyers22 October 2014

Van buyers are being courted by manufacturers for the next couple of weeks, with both Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Citroen offering deals.

Volkswagen is running its 'Das WeltAuto' event, from 24 October to 2 November, at all 70 UK van centres (pictured).

Used commercial vehicles are available with low-rate finance options, including interest free for 12 months with two free services when purchased through VW's commercial vehicle finance business.

Any commercial vehicle, Volkswagen or otherwise, up to six years old which has under 100,000 miles can now be sold as an approved Das WeltAuto van. The VW centre can suggest approved accessories such as parking sensors, cruise control, satellite navigation or Bluetooth/iPod connectivity, and prices for these will include VAT and fitting.

Elsewhere, Citroen's event is already underway, with a 'van fortnight' event running from 20 October to 3 November.

Each Citroen Business Centre has 10 vouchers to issue to customers who order a new van.

Buyers who purchase vans outright could win a business class upgrade, giving free servicing for four years or 60,000 miles, along with four years' Citroen Assistance cover.

Customers taking a van on contract hire could win a two-year service package. Contract hire rates start from £139 plus VAT per month.

Citroen Vans is also marking its sponsorship of the Discovery Channel by offering buyers the chance to win a £7,500 adventure holiday to Alaska. Click the link below for more details.
