Citroën to unveil new Relay at CV Show24 April 2014

Citroën will be unveiling its new Relay van at the Commercial Vehicle Show next week (NEC, Birmingham, 29 April to 1 May).

The new model, says Citroen, delivers class-leading payloads and load space practicality, with square-sided load compartments, wide load decks and some of the lowest load deck heights in its class.

The new Relay also comes with more standard equipment and options, extended service intervals of up to two years or 30,000 miles, and up to 15% more fuel-efficient engines and lower emissions.

All New Relay panel vans in the 3-3.5 tonne gvw range now have combined cycle fuel economy of up to 42.8mpg and sub-200g/km CO2 emission figures.

Factory-built options include: four panel van load lengths and three roof heights; payloads ranging from 1,140-1,995kg; a choice of 3.5 or 4.005 tonne gvw chassis cabs; a 3.5 tonne gvw chassis crew cab; and 3.5 tonne back-to-back cab units for special low-loading, high-cube conversions.

Developments include a new body structure with multiple-point reinforcement to boost rigidity, improve durability and lower noise levels.

The rear doors have been reinforced and stronger door hinges are now used. Sliding side load doors have reinforced rails, redesigned runners and improved door locks.

All New Relay panel vans have Citroën's Trafficmaster SmartNav intelligent satellite navigation and Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking, which provides further operational cost savings and efficiency gains.
