The Mercedes-Benz truck and van aftersales dealer, which has locations along the South West stretch of the M5, has introduced DVSA-approved mobile brake testers from Totalkare at their Avonmouth and Roche locations.
Able to test up to 16,000kg per axle as standard, Totalkare’s connected equipment-ready mobile brake tester is a flexible solution that can be deployed inside or outside the workshop – even on uneven ground. It comes supplied with computer, monitor, printer, cabinet and a handheld unit that makes it easy to conduct brake tests from the comfort of the driver’s seat.
It is available with single or bi-directional rollers and can be upgraded with extended on-ramps, tachograph calibration, axle load simulation and more.
Both mobile brake testers are supported by a repair and maintenance service contract from Totalkare which includes two calibration visits per year.
