Health and safety correction: Carrier Transicold 10 March 2010
On page 40 of the March issue of Transport Engineer, Scott Dargan, operations director at Carrier Transicold, was quoted as saying that one of the company's employees was injured after falling from a cab roof. It was, in fact, someone from a competitor company that fell.
Carrier Transicold launched two key health and safety products in 2009: a harness system for its own technicians, and a tilting aerofoil that is being marketed to operators with rigid trucks to aid access and maintenance of their refrigeration units.
