Isuzu Truck confirms 8% pricing increase for Euro 5 Forwards and Grafters 13 January 2010

Isuzu Truck has confirmed that its Euro 5 prices for the Forward and Grafter ranges have been finalised and fixed for 2010 at an approximate 8% increase across the board.

According to Isuzu Truck UK managing director Nikki King: "By agreeing our Euro 5 pricing and stabilising the price structure for the next 12 months, this will enable our dealers to continue with the ongoing development of the Forward and Grafter ranges, consolidating the success we have achieved in the first 18 months since the launch."

Meanwhile, Isuzu Motors Japan has opened a European support office in Frankfurt, Germany, in place of its shared office arrangement with Mitsubishi. And in Antwerp, Belgium, the organisation's European parts distribution centre is now serving 10 countries with replacement parts, building on the service started last year for the UK.

"While the current market conditions for commercial vehicles are extremely tough here in the UK, at Isuzu we believe there are considerable opportunities for our product range not just here, but in other key European countries," comments King.

"By strategic planning and with the long-term support from our partner organisations around the world, we believe Isuzu is well placed to take advantage of these commercial opportunities."
