Imperial Commercials extends all-makes van and truck parts support 09 February 2011

Imperial Commercials at Frome has extended its all-makes parts support to van and truck operators across Somerset, following its appointment by Multipart as both a VANfit and a Diesel Technic parts outlet.

VANfit offers around 2,000 parts for 12 makes of light commercial vehicle, with the range extending from electrical and mechanical components to fast-moving items such as wiper blades, belts and workshop consumables.

Meanwhile, Diesel Technic's range of HGV parts includes more than 20,000 for Scania, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, DAF and MAN trucks, and many common to buses and coaches. The organisation insists that all are manufactured to OE quality standards and backed by a two year guarantee.

"These are two well established all-makes programmes that are sure to appeal to operators, because of the quality of the products and their competitive pricing," sates Neal Latham, parts team leader at Imperial Frome.

"Firms running mixed fleets with a variety of makes will find it simpler to obtain all their parts from a single source, knowing also that availability is good and that we deliver direct to their door twice a day," he adds.

Latham also points to Imperial Commercials' over the counter collection service and emergency delivery service. "We hold stock locally, but where an item is not available off the shelf at Frome, we can get it overnight from Multipart, provided we place the order before 6.00 pm Monday to Friday."
