Grays Truck & Van takes over Iveco Heathrow maintenance 29 April 2010

Guildford-based Grays Truck & Van has extended its Iveco franchise into West London, by opening of a new sales and service dealership in the Heathrow area.

The organisation takes responsibility for the franchise previously operated by Dagenham Motors at Hayes, which is now focusing on its Iveco dealership in Barking, supported by the satellite operation in Chelmsford.

Grays Truck & Van's Heathrow site represents a £2 million investment, with 12,000 sq ft of workshop arranged in herringbone formation, with 15 drive-through work bays capable of maintaining more than 2,000 vehicles on a six-weekly maintenance cycle.

It also includes hard-standing for storing approximately 50 commercial vehicles on-site.

Grays Truck & Van says it is offering repair and maintenance for all vehicle models, from small vans to maximum weight tractor units, along with Class 7 MOTs, brake testing and 24-hour roadside assistance. Its parts store also stocks around £500,000 of Iveco and all-makes parts.

This is the fifth Iveco dealership to be opened by Grays Truck & Van, which now includes two facilities in Guildford, one in Reading and what is believed to be the largest commercial vehicle workshop inside the M25, in Croydon.

Grays Truck & Van are also supported by M&M Commercials in Abingdon, which acts as an authorised Iveco service dealer. EW Smith in High Wycombe also takes on an Iveco service franchise through Grays Truck & Van, commencing on 26 April 2010.
