Big utilities contract awarded to Masternaut 04 May 2010

Major power and water companies, as well as local authorities, have signed up for Masternaut's advanced tracking services, under a £10 million deal.

Among those involved in the scheme are National Grid, Scottish Power, Scottish Water, Dumfries and Galloway Council and Renfrewshire Council.

The contract will see Masternaut tracking technology monitor an additional 7,000 vehicles, on top of the 60,000 for which the company is already responsible.

"We are delighted with our recent success in the utilities and public sectors," comments Masternaut Three X managing director Martin Port.

"To gain £10 million of new business in such a short period of time is extraordinary and highlights the energy, water and public sectors' eagerness to employ advanced vehicle tracking," he adds.
