Vito models join RHC Lifting fleet11 June 2010

Lifting specialist RHC Lifting has taken delivery of nine Mercedes-Benz Sprinters, under a contract that has seen the dealer, Bristol's City West Commercials, take back six non-Mercedes vehicles in part exchange.

Most of the vans are Vito 111CDI Longs, but the order also includes Compact versions, as well as one Vito 120CDI Sport.

The 2.7-tonne Vito 111CDIs are now being used by RHC Lifting's service engineers in their daily work, which includes maintaining cranes, gantries, hoists and vacuum lifting systems. The Vito 120CDI Sport, meanwhile, is being used as RHC's height safety manager's company car.

RHC director Tony Morgan comments: "We were looking for a high-quality vehicle of this size that would give us the reliability we need. We have to attend emergency breakdowns at customer premises so it's essential that our vehicles don't let us down.

"Mercedes-Benz has an excellent reputation for reliability and I've every confidence that our Vitos are up to the job," he adds.
