UK’s top three technicians to attend CV Operator Show awards 15 March 2010

Steve Smith of Charles Clark Toyota in Wolverhampton, John Tinham of John Tinham Motor Engineer in Chelmsford and Stuart White of Complete Car Maintenance in Surrey have triumphed over nine others in the finals of Top Technician 2010.

Honda Institute in Slough hosted the event, which took place last week, and the final three now go through to the awards ceremony on the Top Technician stand at Workshop 2010 next month, alongside the Commercial Vehicle Operator show at the NEC.

The winner will be revealed by industry expert and Daily Telegraph motoring columnist Honest John on stand 4-230 on the last day of the show – Thursday 15th April.

The winner of Top Technician will receive a cheque for £2,500 and several prizes. The total prize fund value stands at more than £13,000.

Visitors to the Top Technician stand will get practical repair advice and tips from the industry's top experts during 15 minute presentations taht will run each day of the show.

Blue Print, Comma, Delphi, Euro Car Parts and Lemforder all say they will have representatives providing advice and offers on the stand.
