Container transport firm sees swift payback with telematics19 December 2019
Essex-based container transport business KBC Logistics is reporting swift payback from its Verilocation trailer tracking software, after using the system to successfully recover misplaced trailers.
The operator has 150 vehicles and 300 trailers and, it says, often experienced difficulties locating specific trailers, particularly after ‘drop and swap’ operations.
After researching the market, KBC chose Connexas Group’s Verilocation telematics platform, which includes real-time vehicle and asset tracking, driver performance monitoring and remote tachograph download.
“We were immediately impressed by the efficiency of the Verilocation platform – from its competitive pricing and simple ‘plug and play’ installation, to its user-friendly interface,” says Dave Ashford, transport director and compliance manager at KBC Logistics.
