CPT Tacho Analysis working well with TruTac 09 August 2016

CPT (the Confederation of Passenger Transport) is reporting success so far with its introduction of its tachograph system, CPT Tacho Analysis, developed with TruTac.

Peter Gomersall, deputy chief executive of the CPT, explains that a year has now elapsed since the organisation awarded the service project to TruTac.

The commercial partnership, he says, has been a commercial and operational success for all concerned, as a high percentage of CPT members have since signed up to the service.

“We are delighted with the positive start CPT Tacho Analysis has had and we look forward to working with TruTac in the future for the benefit of our members,” states Gomersall.

“Both TruTac and the CPT are exhibiting later this year at Euro Bus Expo, and we look forward to meeting members and receiving their feedback.”

Johnson’s Coaches was the first operator to sign up for the CPT Tacho Analysis service, he says.

“We look forward to introducing this exclusive offer to even more CPT members in 2016—17.”

CPT, he says, is now looking at other TruTac compliance products to compliment CPT Tacho Analysis.

These may include mobile app-based products for drivers’ daily walk-around checks and driver time and attendance, to assist in capturing WTD (Working Time Directive) data.
