CV repair firm logs on to boost service and cost savings13 April 2015

Commercial vehicle repair business Truck and Trailer Services says it is expecting “substantial” cost savings from improved workshop efficiency, following its implementation of the r2C Online Service Network platform.

The Telford-based business identified r2C Online as a solution that would enable all vehicle maintenance information to be held on one system.

"There are no longer paper service sheets being lost and, once the first inspection is set up in the system, the whole process is much quicker," says Sam Baker (pictured), director of Truck and Trailer Services.

"The system is easy to use and ensures compliance, incorporating quality control processes which leave less room for potential mistakes. Based on our experience so far, we expect to see substantial financial savings."

Improved customer service was a key objective, adds Baker, and this has been achieved: "Most of our customers are really happy about the move to the r2c Online software, with many of them already users of the platform.

"The system allows us to plan work schedules in advance and customers can also manage their documentation, schedules and bookings themselves, which benefits both parties."
