CV Show 2012 exceeds all expectations

The organisers of the Commercial Vehicle Show 2012 and Workshop 2012 are delighted to announce that, subject to ABC Audit, the attendance figure for this year's Show at over 16,000 has once again topped the figure for the previous year.

"From an engineer's perspective, it was excellent to see so many visitors involved in the technical side of the business," says Nick Jones, chief executive of the Society of Operations Engineers. "The range of exhibitors at this year's Show underlines the fact that there really IS something there for everyone."

RHA chief executive Geoff Dunning echos Jones' enthusiasm. "This is great news for the Show's future development and for the industry in general," he states. "It is extremely encouraging to know that, despite the uncertainty in other areas of British industry, the optimism that exists in the road freight sector remains extremely buoyant."

The Commercial Vehicle Show is owned by the CV Show LLP, comprising the Road Haulage Association, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and IRTE Services Ltd, the trading company of the SOE (Society of Operations Engineers). Crystal Communications will manage the Show organisation, stand sales and marketing.
