CV Show: product debuts and first-time exhibitors08 April 2016

Several more exhibitors have released details of their plans for the Commercial Vehicle Show later this month (NEC, Birmingham; 26-28 April), including trailer maker Cartwright which will be creating a splash with its largest ever stand.

The company is also taking a second stand to exhibit its recently launched Cartwright Conversions division. It will feature 3.5-tonne and 7.5-tonne rigids – both insulated refrigerated units – plus an Asda-liveried trailer on its main stand.

Mini-van manufacturer DFSK will be making its debut at the show and unveiling its new C-Series, including the C35 crew van and C31 single cab dropside.

Another newcomer is Van Vault, which will be showcasing its range of vehicle and on-site security boxes. The company points out that the average break-in time to a vehicle is less than 10 seconds – so it will be offering visitors the chance to break into a Van Vault box within 60 seconds, and is providing a range of prizes.

Visitors to the TyrePal stand will be able to sign up for advanced trials of TeleTPMS, a new remote tyre pressure monitoring system for commercial vehicles. The system provides alerts by email or SMS when tyres are either over- or under-inflated, plus provides fleet managers with live updates on vehicle location.
